Krenula je sezona filmskih i televizijskih dodjela nagrada, a sinoć je započelo sa 74. dodjelom Emmy nagrada koja se održala u Los Angelesu u kazalištu „Miscrosoft Theater“. Emmy dodjela nagrada daje priznanje najboljim televizijskim postignućima u ovoj godini, a sinoć su mnogi briljirali. Za najbolju dramu nagradu je pokupio film „Succession“, a za najbolju komediju nagrada je pripala Apple TV seriji „Ted Lasso“. Zendaya je okrunjena za glavnu glumicu u HBO dramskoj seriji „Euphoria“, dok je nagrada za najboljeg glavnog glumca pripala Lee Jung-jaeu za njegovu izvedbu u seriji „Squid Game“. Zvijezda večeri bio je film „The White Lotus“ koji je osvojio nagradu najbolje limitirane serije, dok je Jennifer Coolidge ponijela kući nagradu za najbolju sporednu glumicu u spomenutom filmu.
